Why is there never anyone in the CT? I mean usually no one. Not a person. Zero. Or at best one or two. I want to play in there European evenings. It is always deserted, yet for the more experienced player it is obviously the place to be.
Am I missing something?

We're all missing something. The CT works in mysterious ways. For a few months we were seeing, in US prime time, what you see in European prime time. Now people are starting to filter back and our numbers are going up.
Here's something that I have found often works for me (which was suggested by someone else, long ago). If you log in and find the CT is empty, go there anyway. Set a time for yourself - five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes - and stay there for that period. Often others will log on, see that at least someone is in there, and the snowball begins to build.
Or not. It doesn't always work! But you can fool around and familiarize yourself with an unfamiliar plane during that time, work on your views or your hammerhead stalls, that sort of thing.

The CT can be a fun arena and I've often wondered why more Eurosquads didn't follow Llv 32's example and use the CT as venue for squad ops.
The thing is that Euro primetime is between 1500 and 2000 hrs EST. The only east coast CT players on consistently at that time are us semi retired/unemployed types.
Perhaps if the CT staff hired an accountable European player and placed him on staff then there would be more participation from our Euro cousins. But then again maybe I'm full of shiite. :D
Any way off to work now I'm late.

THAT is actually quite a good idea Storchie! I am surprised no one has thought of it as yet! (Homer Simpson "DOH!") Will talk to the crew about it. I got a few connections I might can prospect.
Storch! :aok
As for your being full of Poo - well I think we all know the answer to THAT one! :D

LOL Slash, not me! :D
As I wrote earlier to other threat: be patient and wait the new maps after we have the customize Terrain Editor. And now we have it!
I am working with BlauK and Camo with the new Object and Terrain editors and at first we are finishing our brand new Finland map. I can promise that it brings at least the Finns back to CT! ;)
The new tools are great and you are going to see something amazing with the new and updated maps in this spring. Here's one example: The Viipuri Castle by BlauK. It is including the Finland map:

We are releasing this map in the beginning of the March!

Can't wait, Kanttori. Keep that nose to the grindstone, okay?

Looks great, Kanttori! I hope HTC rewards your efforts with a real Sky Pearl for the game, and some earlier War Soviet fighters like the Lagg-3 or Yak-1 for opposition.
