A quick question. If a german squadron is a "geschwader", what are the appropriate names (if any) for a squadron-sized unit in,
The German Surface Navy
The German Submarine Service (e.g. Wolf Pack)
The German Panzer Corps

I believe it goes something like this:
GESCHWADER = WING 120 OR SO PLANES
GRUPPE = GROUP 40 OR SO PLANES
STAFFEL = SQUADRON 12 OR SO PLANES

Also inside a Staffel you can have a Schwärm composed of 4 planes or a Kette of 3.

btw.. ZUG is like 1/2 company
a Kompanie is just that .. a company .. gits to all army stuff tankers and grunts
2-3 Züge = 1 Kompanie
3 Komanien = 1 Battalion
3-5 Battalione = 1 Regiment
2-3 Regimenter = Armee
