Flew the B24s for the first time since the new flameage on the engine got put into effect. (been awhile)
Anyway, One of my bombers engines caught on fire and I dived to try to put it out..nothing.. Then I GOT thinking...
HiTech.. why don't you program in the game like a Fire extinguisher system for each engine like they used in WWII. (pretty sure they had them in WWII)
Could be a percentage thing each time you tried to put is out and of couse there would be limited supply of Fire extinguisher liquid..or whatever was used back then.
COuld have keys like ALT+1 for engine 1
ALT+2 for engine 2 and so on..
Just a crazy thought.. a minor improvement but a useful one for buff drivers

I looked for evidence of this too. I found that b17s anyway had them removed. Cant remember why.

humm going to do some more research too.. Almost positive I know the B24s had them
Thanks for input

Anyway, a steep dive should've put it out too. If there aren't going to be fire extinghuisers, than at least enable the 'dive-extinghuiser'?

I'd love to see this ability esp. in the b24 which lights on fire very easily.
Of course prepare yourself for a LOT of whines from the "buffs are too tough to kill whaaaaaaa" department.
