Well since the SuperBore was on and I`m not into watching up and coming inmates get paid millions to play a kids sport I was looking for something to watch.
WooHoo! I found the Liddel/Ortiz fight was coming on.
Well that was an intense 10 minutes including hype and commercials. lol
Now the next question will be, will Tito Ortiz be the next guest star on Nip/Tuck?
:D
Chuck didn`t bring a can of Whoopass, he brought a truck load of the stuff.
;)

Nice to see another MMA fan on the boards. That fight had huge hype. You shoulda seen what Ortis did to Ken Shamrocks head. I've never seen a welt big or stick out that far. Ortis fought last night too.( I haven't seen it yet) It's pretty much do or die for him at this time. His stock is declining and he needs a win to make a PPV again.

hey, out of all the professional sports I believe the NFL is the only one to truely endorse continuing college education. (with minimum 2 years post high school draft requirements) i bet if you did a study of how many pro football athletes had degrees it would be a pretty high percentile with baseball the only sport higher.
there are more 'up and coming inmates' in basketball IMO

UFC is still fun to watch. I miss the old days though when the ref wouldn't interferre until it was obvious 1 guy was done. Now the rules are much like boxing and less of a street fight. I guess it's safer for those involved, but thats what made it exciting back when. I won't say that the guys still don't get mangled, but back in the day I personally found it much more exciting. Now, from a person who is a casual veiwer of it, there seems little difference between UFC and K1 fighting, just my opinion.
PS: The way Ortiz came out all pumped up I thought he'd crush Liddel. Boy was I wrong:D

Phffffft! Degrees kneez! Most are carried through due to the football and handed a degree to do so. Most these guys couldn`t run a fuggin garage sale.

Yep, he was pretty pumped, but I think Chuck wanted it too bad.

Orits played right into his game.. stand up fighting. He should have taken him to the mat that 1st chance he had. Chuck really has no offense on the mat.

Well, with the lousy numbers I had on the squares sheet, and the strip cards giving me 5's and 6's all frigging day, and the friggin Eagles not scoring 1 more time so I could make 500 on the over-under bet, I wish I had watched 2 guys beating the crap out of each other lol...... But I had fun anyway getting tanked complaining :)
