Is it the way I 've set it up or is the dive brake indicator light all but impossible to see?
-
no dive brakes on P38G/J, if that helps.
-
I realize that the G and J models do not have dive brakes but I am experiencing the same thing with the L. I used to use the L as the perfect jabo platform as with the dive brake engaged I can dive nearly verticle on the target from altitude without a bout of the compression fatality syndrome. I can't find an indicater in the new L instrument panel.
All the Best...

The dive brake indicator is the red (I think) knob on the left side of the yoke in the P38L. Press shift c and you'll see it pushed in and out.
-
heh, I havnt seen an indicator? If you can see the back of the red lever behind the yoke, they're up. If not they're down.

P38 L dive flap lightis above the trim indicator boxes. right side about mid panel, sometimes hidden behind yoke.

lol, 94 kills in the L this tour and I never saw it. Can barely read the instruments at my resolution anyways. Had to set a look_down_forward view so I could read the gages.

Dont think the resolution is much help I have mine at 512, i'll go back and check. But thanks for the handle hint.. Didn't realise.
