Gods of Kobol!  That movie came out so long ago, wouldn't it be 'Debbie Does the Dallas Senior Center'?

I have high hopes for Batman Begins. The series had gone too cartoonish. There is a serious dark drama there if done right. Also looking forward to Casino Royale, altho it will not be out this year. The Bond series has also gone too cartoonish relying more on CGI than script. It will be intersting to see who they pick to play 007. Brosnan suggested Collin Farrel, but I can't quite see him in the role.

There are no great movies anymore. Great movies make you THINK, and feel something more than horror and revulsion. So far, the MOST that can be said of the movies mentioned above is they might be entertaining. With the price of movie tickets these days, I'm disappointed in the return we movie-goers get for our money.

Consider:

*Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf*;
*Days of Wine and Roses*;
*To Kill a Mockingbird*;
*On The Beach*;
*The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence*;
*The Sand Pebbles*;
*The Searchers*;
*The Wings of Eagles*;
*Cool Hand Luke*;
*The Long Hot Summer*;
*Cat On A Hot Tin Roof*;
*A Streetcar Named Desire*;
*It's a Wonderful Life*;
*The Wind And The Lion*:
*The Man Who Would Be King*;
*Exodus*;
*Lawrence of Arabia*
....and others
