I thought in order for a bomb to arm and go off it has to travel
800 ft. Correct? Can someone explain how a buff, that shows as
D400, can drop bombs and have them explode. Did the travel
distance change and some of us miss that bit of info?
I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's getting real
STUPID with the buffs divebombing.

That's 400 YARDS so it'd be 1200 FEET.

Is it in yards or in seconds.. . How many seconds?
I dive bombed a CV from 15k was doing just under 500mph
when i droped the bombes and was at about 2000-3000ft.
I put them right on target and they did not go off. I was peeved.
This makes me believe that the bombs are armed after a certain amount of time instead of feet traveled,,,
I assumed that my bombs hit the target before they had been armed because of the speed at wich they were traveling.
Any words on this?

It's feet traveled, not time. It simulates the little propellor spinner on the front of a bomb that arms the bomb.
From Pyro: "Added fuzes to all bombs. A bomb will not arm unless it’s traveled 1000 feet. This translates to about a 100 foot drop at 250 miles per hour. The faster you travel, the less altitude is required and vice versa."
