Its a great read, I havent read it in a couple years...I might just dig it up and read it again. I've been re-reading the Yeager biography and am almost thru that (his second books was...well, yawn)

cmon post some highlights of those pointers you used.
I feel ashamed to go to the self-help section of any library and pick up a book on how to bootlick. ;) :D

The sweetest thing any person can hear is their own name. Spend the effort to remember peoples name, and use them, and you WILL make friends and influence people.
And for you cynics out there, it is not about manipulation.
-
Most people forget everything they read in that book within a few months (thank god).
The rest are in sales.
-
Every job is sales, Nash, as you should well know.

Well, ya don't gotta be so cheezey about it. How to Win Friends and Influence People? Who cops to that nowadays? Just have some gawdamned basic social graces.
Know who reads that book? People that watch other people's interactions, puzzled, and don't know how to pull it off on their own. It's a recipe for disaster.
-
Looks like you're taking that bastige Carnegie's fargin advice to heart, Nash, you're just too dense to fargin know it.

Har, har. :)
