Yes, Syria is always just earger to help give us info on the war on terror. Bosnia too.

Now, while I do think goes on, I think this report is dubious....

dubious is as dubious does.

:)

p.s.  it was originally published in the new yorker.  so the source is a bit more mainstream (albiet intelligensic) than it appears.

All of it generally. Syria helping us interoggate terrorists?  Bosnia?

Kinda far fetched.

of course i do grun.

and i dont doubt that you have seen contrast.  it must offer a great perspective.

no.  i dont think that. (9/11 planned by government. )  ive never once said that so you can just put your label back in your label jar thank you.

and id be pretty well damned if i would take your accusations seriously anyway.

here you are...spouting freedom at the top of your lungs and yet you find nothing wrong with trying to place the metaphoric equivelent of a yellow star or a scarlet "L" on people who dont emphatically share your views.

its a recent phenomena in america and its getting worse.  believe me, it isnt doing us any good.  when people get so drawn into being right and calling names...no one LISTENS.  NO ONE WINS.

but perhaps that is because others who were brainwashed elsewhere are bringing thier own predjudices over here right?

you can put me into any camp that you want to if it makes you feel better, but placing a lable on anyone in a negative manner  is merely a form of hostile organization brought on by something else.

you can call me an ameri-hater or a conspiracist or whatever. but by god, ive been here my whole life, have nothing to prove and the only conspiracies that i believe are that oswald did'nt act alone and i have a gut feeling that the plane was sadly, in fact,  shot down over pennsylvania.

if that makes me all of those things in your little world then by all means, please feel free to go back to the country you crawled out of because we believe in the free exchange of ideas, the possibility of questions and we certainly dont believe in tryranical mindsets that disavow the right to be who you are without being judged.

at our core...we are the antithesis of those things.

that's why weve flourished.

Not sure about whether or not the US got any useful info out of Syria.  But they certain did (with RCMP knowledge) hand over a Canadian citizen to the Syrians and he was subsequently tortured and intergated about any possible involvement with Afghanistan.

And remember it doesn't have to be Syria helping, just people in Syria.

This part is not made up. It has been a domestic politics soap opera for the last few years (in Sweden).

On December 18, 2001, at Stockholm’s Bromma Airport, a half-dozen hooded security officials ushered two Egyptian asylum seekers, Muhammad Zery and Ahmed Agiza, into an empty office. They cut off the Egyptians’ clothes with scissors, forcibly administered sedatives by suppository, swaddled them in diapers, and dressed them in orange jumpsuits. As was reported by “Kalla Fakta,” a Swedish television news program, the suspects were blindfolded, placed in handcuffs and leg irons; according to a declassified Swedish government report, the men were then flown to Cairo on a U.S.-registered Gulfstream V jet. Swedish officials have claimed that they received assurances from the Egyptians that Zery and Agiza would be treated humanely.
