If I send a Ac3d model of a hanger, could you help me group it - or group it with an explanation of what does what? (if there are ceratin naming conventions ( "ij",o14..ect..)) to fit into the AH world?
Right now I have it grouped into 8 parts
4 intact object LODs (L1-4)
4 Dead object LODs (D1-4)
or you can just send it back and laugh at me - and say "nope - all wrong...try again kid.." lol
If so - let me know and I'll zip it and wing it off -
Is your email dale@hitechcreations, or dalea@hitechcreations.com?
BTW - can multires textures be used - say a 128x128 for lod4, 256x256 for lod3..ect.....?

No on multi res textures, and Keep those textures as small as possible.
Would wrather not get into doing this stuff for you.
Only naming conventions are Model,Objects,Ground, silowet, and the 3 letter names.

ok thanks
so then stuff like "tex0" and "o14" are just names that were given to the to the objects as they were created, then?
So it should look like:
World,
Model
Objects,
"HGR1"
Now, this is where I get sketchy on this...
LOD1, which contain 2 groups - an intact version
and a dead shape.
LOD2 - ""
LOD3
LOD4 (if needed, supported)
"Ground" - Should I have anything in here if building an object like a hanger?
Sorry to keep buggin about this stuff - just finding it a bit challenging at the moment.
Thanks again -

Well - I'm winning!
Figured it out and got it grouped where it shows up in the Object editor - LODs are working there and the dead objects aren't showing through so I take it that's a good sign......
Man thats a pain in the butt..lol
Just have some more tweaking to do on some reduction and a wall is dissapearing early, but other than that all seems to be working fine.
