After armistice between Germany and France 1940 there were French aircrafts and pilots flying as "Axis"; maybe those victories were achieved in NA ?

Where do you see French kill markings? Here's Louis Schriber Jr.'s combat info from the American Fighter Aces' album. He flew with the 80th FS, 8th FG and was initially based in New Guinea.

"     Flying Lockheed P-38s, Lieutenant Schriber claimed five probably destroyed Japanese fighters before he was credited with his first confirmed victory on 18 January 1944, a Tony shot down just northwest of Wewak. He destroyed another Tony 30 miles north of Hollandia on 30 March and the following day was credited with an Oscar over Hollandia.
Arriving in the Phillipines that fall, Schriber, by then a captain, scored his fourth victory on 22 December, downing a Hamp over Mindoro. Eight days later, he was credited with on Zeke confirmed destroyed, another as probable and damaged a thrid to become an ace. "

That's all the kills he had.

;)

Lets not be too hard on the French.  Without them, we would still be under the stinking british!

With the French kill markings... All those 32 in his Tempest 'Le Grand Charles' are Germans, AFAIK Clostermann didn't shoot down any Frenchmen.

The white crosses on Clostermanns plane indicate probables and ground targets, I'm assuming the blanks on the P38 are for the same.

Guys, we've really not been singing from the same sheet here. The previous 50 times this jokes been posted have been hilarious, lots of ad-libbing about guns only being dropped once etc etc.

We need to tighten up a little and then, by Gods good grace, we make the next 50 something we can all be proud of.

Till the next time, Va te faire foutre! :)
