Yesterday i got my TrackIR3 + Vector Expansion.
So far it works pretty fine with AH with one exception:
When i hit the "send" button for the Voice channels i immediatly get stutters in the View movement.
I have checked if USB port and Audio are put on the same IRQ, but they are on seperate ones.
So what might cause this problem?
System Specs:
Athlon XP2400+
512 MB SDRAM
Elitegroup K7S5A
ATI 9500 PRO 128MB
using Onboard Sound
Windows XP Pro SP1

Try moving your hardware sound accleration to 3/4 (Basic) from Full. You can do this in the Sound tab of DXDIAG (Start->Run->DXDIAG).

I dont know what the english word "stutters" means, and im to lazy to look it up, but the trick Sir Skuzzy wrote helped me when my PC started to freez after I got the Track IR.
After setting sound acceleration to 3/4 my pc never hang again in AH2.
I also read that its a good idea to not connect the Track IR to a USB HUB, as there can be much data going on. Beter to connect it directly to a USB port on the PC.

Thx Skuzzy, that worked.

The default Track IR Center command hot key is F12.
The default range vox in AHII is F12.
When you try to talk on range vox, Track IR is trying to re-center at the same time. This also causes the screen to stutter.
The Fix: re-map Track IR hotkey Center command to another key. I used Scroll lock.
The other Track Ir default hot keys are also AHII hotkeys. I changed my Pause command to my keyboard Pause/Break key, and my Precision command to Print Screen.
