Installed XP and cant get AH2 Running.
Pentium 3 900mhz 512 mb gforce 2mx
Installed (correctly, i believe) DirectX 9.0c
After initial video settings pop up AH loads into a white screen and then closes itself
dx9test routine on AH2 folder doesn´t load or do anything.
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Your video card doesn't have hardware T&L and therefore will not run AH II. Your entire system will be marginal at best but with an upgrade to a GeF 4 or ATI Radeon series card you will be able to run the game with minimal graphics settings.

if its a GF 2 mx 400 64mb it will run ah2 .. but your gonna probly need to update the video drivers to get it to work
if its a 32mb its dead for this game
also your gonna need to turn all the settings down in the game .. your frame rates are gonna be in the single digits also ..

Right, its 32mb.
Guess im in truoble huh?
Thanks for the help guys.

Unfortunately, whatever new video card you put in that machine, your not gonna be happy with the game's framerates. Your CPU is too slow.

it would work with a 9550 ati 256 or better card .. it might even work with a fx5200 but it would have low fps
i have ah2 running on a 800 mhz Amd and a 9500 ati card its ok but its fps hit the low teens in a huge furball

I have a DELL laptop with a GeForce 4 64mb card. I have plenty of RAM, loaded the latest DirectX, updated the video driver's and installed the latest AHII. I get a blank screen then get booted back to my desktop never getting to the main menu screen. I've tried all settings and deleted the video8.cfg file to reset video settings. Nothing works.
Here is a short list from DXdiag:

Laptop cards arent the same as the desktop versions. Dont know that this is your problem, just sayin not to expect that just because the desktop version of that card will work with AH that yours will too.
Also, you didnt include any info on the sound card or the Dx Diagnostic's printout of your drivers. Without knowing what drivers you are running, what sound card you use, etc its going to be hard to tell you if there are any other potential problem spots.

yea we need to see down to the sound drivers at least .. (dxdiag)
then we'll compare and see whats up and try to help .
