Title: Elevator trim not working
Post by: quig on February 12, 2005, 10:56:10 PM: I recently posted this (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=142751).

But after checking it out more and testing every single plane, I can't trim the elevator in any plane with the keyboard keys. Even if I re-assign the key, it still doesn't work. And mapping it to a joystick button doesn't work either.

I have combat trim off, auto-take off on. But even if I disable auto-take off I still can't use the trim keys.

I checked the settings folder for a .cfg file to delete for the keyboard, but I couldn't find one in there. I even restored the setting folder (entire thing) with one I had on disc for backup with no luck.

My entire AHII folder is marked read-only. Even if I change that, it always reverts back to read-only (Win XP Home). But my saved views and everything work OK.

Any ideas?

Aileron and rudder trim work just fine. I have tried deleting the settings folders five times with no success. Prior to the re-install the elevator trim had been working fine for years.

Using Windows 7 pro (64-bit)

Check to see if you have any analog device assigned to elevator trim.
