Title: Need help with the breaks..cant stop ???
Post by: TheWobble on February 24, 2001, 08:32:00 PM
I want to bind my right mouse button to right break and left button to left break. I tried it the obviouse way (in selsct joystick and the picked mouse) but it doesent seem to work.  if im rolling and I laft click or right click nothing happens, however if i click BOTH the plane slows and turns left.

What am I doing wrong?

Why use the mouse for the brakes? Two keys are already set as individual wheel brakes, provided you didn't remap them. C is the left brake, V is the right brake. If you've got a stick with buttons on the base remap them for wheel brakes. That's what I did on my Sidewinder 3D. Button 5 is left brake, button 7 is for the right one. It works perfectly. Since I don't have a nice expensive HOTAS rig I trim by hand using the keyboard. And no I don't use combat trim. My hand is already on the keyboard, so I usually use C and V for wheel brakes when I need to.

Wobble walks strange paths indeed. I bet he can use his third "hand" to use the mouse!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
