Title: question about ST Voyager

Hey I was just watching Voyager ,whats the deal with the Doctor? Is the sickbay like a holodeck so he can interact with patients?  is he part of the ships computer?
oh and now i'm watching enterprise-the best part of the show is the intro :p

Sickbay has holo emitters so the doctor can exist in sickby. Later Voyager obtains a mobile emitter so he can leave sickbay, and the ship itself.

Enterprise's opening credits are te worse in the startrek franchise imo

Yes, they get pulled back into Earth mid-90s in a 2-part epsiode where a guy had stolen a vessel from the 29th century.  Among the many technologies he made, one of them was that mobile emitter the Doctor uses.

Just checked, Season 3.."Future's End" is the above episode.
