Title: 3-d objects
Post by: NUTTZ on February 14, 2005, 10:58:00 AM
I am just starting to get back into making a map, Do you need a 3-d program, or does the object editor do this? If a program is needed can I use 3D studio max?

You can use 3Dmax and then import the model to ac3d for texturing.. save it as.ac and then convert it in ObjectEditor.. then finally work with it in OE and TE... simple... eh?  ;)

Great to hear Nuttz! I know that soon we can see amazing maps with cool ideas! The new Terrain Editor is not difficult to you to learn, it's very similar than the classic one and it have many new features you like very much!

Also oblect editor is easy to learn, it took one night to me!

I am waiting your maps than I can steal ideas from you! :D

Ps, I have solved the coastline question and I can tell it to you as soon Skuzzy has approved it! So don't think about it at first! ;)
