Hi!
Just wondering how these two differs what comes to ACM and over all handling / performance? Never flown Razorback (only D-30), but thinking about it and any advice would be nice.

Welp, the D25 is not a Razorback. Our first Razorback will be the D11, which should be available in 1.07. I can't wait. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
The differences are quite minimal. The D30 has more options for A2G ordinance I believe. The D30 also runs at higher boost at full throttle, though the WEP to the same numbers I think. The D25 may be slightly lighter. To be honest, the differences are trivial. Fuel load will make far more difference than the different models will.
Now the D11 should be even more different. The Razorback canopy will mean reduced visibility, but should also result in better stability due to increased side plate area. I think the D11 is lighter as well. I'm not sure what the power and prop differences will be on the D11.

Got inspired to fly the Jug after watching the Thunderbolts Conquest of the Reich segment on the History Channel.
I flew both variants last night back to back for the first time and think the D25 is more sluggish when rolling, especially at lower speeds (i.e. 200 mph). The D30 appears to have a higher WEP boost which is great. Overall, I preferred the D30 to the D25 for both these reasons. Interesting markings on the D25... couldn't quite figure out what they were. They almost looked like AVG markings from China.

the D-25 markings are Brazillian, though I couldn't tell ya much more than that.

42-26786 with Brazilian AF code "D4" was actually a P-47D-27-RE, the 13th -27 off the production line at Republic Farmingdale in fact. The plane was given to the USAAF 13May44, and left US 4Jun44. It was taken over by the Brazilians on 28 Oct 44, presumably after sitting unused at a depot or flown by another 15th AF unit.
Note, the Brazilians did have at least 22 P-47D-25-RE aircraft assigned during the war to 1°GAvCA in Italy; I've got the whole list of P-47s assigned to them. HTC loses cool points here for this glaring inaccuracy!! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
