Title: joining and accepting

just new to flying with AH and last night I asked my friend to join my bomber.  when he typed his .join xxxxx command i didn't see anything to let me know that he did so I could type .accept xxxxx

the only way I knew was we were on roger wilco  so he told me he put in a request.

what am I doing wrong.

If the person joining you does it right you'l get a pop up window, asking you to accept or deny.

Either they were forgeting the ".", misspelling your handle, or something similar.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I guess iI didn't complete my post because I didn't say that I was able to type .accept XXXXX and my friend joined me, but I didn't get any pop-up box or anything to tell me that he had made a request.
