Anyone using them?
-
I don't only because it messes with my video ALOT. It felt like i was on an old radeon 7500 but worse! Laggy as hell... Could be my mobo or CPU i'm using though. I'm stickin with the [previous driver...

5.2 is the current driver. But unless you have a newer video card (x600, x700, x800, etc) no real reason to go beyond 4.12 that I have seen. No performance increases for older cards. Lots of bugs in 5.1

Thanks for the quick replies, just posted on driverheaven and came back here :)
Will stick with the 4.12s, thanks again.

I just upgraded to Cat 5.2 last weekend, and my frame rate improved significantly (max is around 85 fps). Previously I had been using only the Dell-approved ATI drivers.
Am using a 1-year-old fancy Dell PC, however. Not sure what older hardware would experience.

Thanks TDeacon, 38ruk. TDeacon, I stopped using the official ATI drivers since I started using ATI based Omega drivers a year/2 years ago.

38ruk thanks, that's pretty much been my experience with the last 4 or so releases.
Seems ATI is focusing on their newer GFX cards now. Can't blame them, still I like to keep my drivers relatively up to date.
