Holy crap that is nice!

Now, I just want to be sure the G had the outside wing tanks.  I know the tankage increased in later models.

And you know what Oboe, I think you are correct.  I can't see any sign of the outer wing tank circle on any photos or 3 views and that includes H models too

From what I remember, the G didn't have any outer wing fuel tanks it was instead carrying oil instead.

Now that your warmed up, make sure the 367th skins are even nicer please (subtle order from XO to grunt)    ;)

very nice skin Kev  another great  work,but  damn i hate  you guys     just  as i get a little better with a skin  you  get %100 better:mad: :( .

Cooley - Ive only submitted 'Scrapiron' 367th skin skin up to now, (not Moonlight Cocktail) just in case it came down 1 of the 2.

I'm happy to discuss anything, although looking at your P-38 above I'm not sure what there is I can teach you. BTW the texture effect I use for dirty washes (in PSP 7) is effects/texture effects/sculpture.

Thanks Greebo, guess I am wondering which sculpture effect you use. Looking at the default PSP ones, none really seem to fit.

Dohhhh! Been so long since I looked at that I forgot there were even different sculpture effects. It is number 9 with size set to 400, then smaller on a second pass. I create a wash over the whole skin and remove bits where I don't want it (engine etc). Then I do 20-30 pixel motion blurs on the wash over each panel of the skin, altering the direction of the blur to match the airflow direction on that section.

Thanks but number 9 is fabric knit, looks well weird.
