Errrr.... I've been flying the 47 alot, luv it. I'm just starting to fly the c205 abit and I was wondering if I could get some training in it vrs spits..etc. Just some 1 on 1 would be cool. I'd like to learn more about reversals and such. MarkAT, and Ghostha trained myself and my squadies last night <S> and it was awesome. I'm looking for some advanced stuff I quess... ?

Well, we certainly have a bunch of great P-47 sticks we can put you with. I'll have to poll my training crew and see who is most qualified in the 205. IMHO, it is very similar to a 109/spit combination.
In my opinion, the "advanced stuff" is nothing more than knowing what moves to pull when. Advanced skills are things like estimating energy differences between you and other planes, situational awareness, and planning a fight. These thing are often best learned in the arena, although you can set them up in the TA with some work.
We'll get you comfortable 1v1 with a trainer in your birds. The next step will be to give you some advice and some reading to do. After that, it's a good idea to wing in the arena with somebody who is very successful at your type of fighting. Wing with them, and forget about kills. Spend some time flying wing protecting them, but mostly watching how they work the fight. Not what moves they do so much as what they do in various situations. When do they extend and grab altitude. What do they do if they see a higher dot. A lower dot. How do they handle different types of planes.
Once we've gotten the basics down, we'll set you up with some folks you can fly with in the main. Either one of us trainers, or possibly somebody else who specializes in your chosen ride and/or fighting style.

Leph. yea this sounds good. I'm interested in the c205 I think because its not flown much... its a plane that can do many things good but nothing great ... simliar to the 38 in aw3. It also has a good cannon load... which I need as I cant hit jack... or jill.
The P-47 is an awesome ride so I'm kind of torn between it and this 205 fetish. I feel I always end up turning so why not pick a plane that can do it abit better...
When and where could I get some training?

P.S The reason I mentioned vrs spit I fiqure if I can take most spits 1 on 1 in a c205 I have "arrived" so to speak.

Lephturn has given you some great advice!
IMO you can learn more in one hour following an expert, (or ride along in his cockpit if he'll let you). Than 10 X the same amount of time spent in the TA as far as Advanced ACM & E managment is concerned.
A lot of it boils down to learning from your mistakes, being able to "step outside" the fight, and see what you could have done differntly.
I did fly the 205 for a tour or two, but got turned onto the la5n, & then the la7.
See if you can find Busc, he's deadly in that 205.
