Seems they managed to crossbreed a Lion and a Tiger.
Good god these things are huge!
"Long ago, outside the old city of Singapore, which was considered to be the city of Lions, there was reported to be giant brown beasts. This was before the Asiatic lion was reduced to such low numbers that their are now less than 200 left in the Gir forest. This huge animal might just be an explanation for this myth, for he is neither a lion nor a tiger, but he is about the size of both of them combined. The liger is the world's largest big cat. An average male liger weighs over 900 pounds and standing almost 12 feet tall. "

WOW!!! That's amazing. I saw a piece of news on TV about that this morning but I did'nt think the Liger was THAT big. Damn, Now i wander if the Liger is a fairly dovile animal? Just wandering because the Highland Cows/and Bulls are a rare mix breed between Steer and A regular cow. I'm just curious to see if these beatiful Ligers will be docile.

It's pretty much my favorite animal.

It's bred for its skills in magic.

All cats use magic, how else do they talk to me?

Probably a good reason for this is they are typically found in different parts of the world and usually live in different habitats:)

tigrons and ligers are sterile too.

Pretty much like a lion or a tiger. They're fine...
a long as your on the other side of the bars. But unless you know what you're doing, you don't want to be playing with one.
tigrons and ligers are sterile too.
Male ligers are usually, but not always sterile. Female ligers are usually fertile.

Awesome cat!

Breeding regular cows(as opposed to a constipated one I guess??) with steers wont do you much good.
A steer is a castrated bull

Silat,
Where did you get that pic of Drex?

Have you EVER in your life seen or heard of a Highland Cow? They are hairier then hell and the males AND females have long bellybutton horns like Cattle. They are expensive as hell and VERY docile as mean as they may look. You can slap one in the face and it will just look at you. My friends and I have rode our dirtbikes through the pen where we live, and they have watrched us go right next to them and do jumps and ****. They are docile as all hell. I'm just wandering if the Liger is because sometimes mixing a nasty animal with a nasty animal will come out something big but yet docile. It's the mix of jeans that do it i guess i dunno. On TV they said it's not as nasty and tempered like the Tiger and Lion, So I'll just have to wait and see.

Doesnt matter if I have heard of or even seen a Highland Cow before. Fact is they ARENT bred by using a normal cow and a *steer*. Steers have no testicles since those parts are removed while young.

Tigers and lions aren't particularly nasty. You just shouldn't fool around with them. Same for a liger.
Despite...believe it or not... what the TV said.
-
Ligers, I draw them all the time.
Idiots!
