Title: ships indestructible?

I tried bishops shore batteries against knights ships (OFFline mode); ships hit 3-4 times but no evidence of any sort of damage. Are they indestructible?

No but they are not easy to sink either.

I've sunk CV with a single 4k bomb. Takes a LOT of hits to sink a ship with either 5 or 8" guns. I'd expect shore batteries to be similar.
