Well I dont know if this is just for certain planes or not but I took a film last night of Leviathn and I in tempests and the internal views cannot be adjusted.
When in the cockpit view you are posistioned just inside the nose cone. It looks to me like its stuck half way between gun cam mode and cockpit mode. Anything I do to try and change the views doesnt work while inside the cockpit.
Another problem and I dont know if its a bug or not, please tell me it is.....
I can't change from one plane to another anymore by clicking on the players name. Is this an intentional change? I'd sure hope not. Not only was it good for seeing what's going on in the other guys plane, but it made movie making a whole lot more 3 dimentional.
Maybe I'm missing something here as far as both these problems for me go? Is there something that has changed and I just dont know it yet?

I also was limited to "in nose cone" views for in-plane, on some, but not all, of the films I took last weekend.
Planes were SpitIX and FW190A5. Spit in-cockpit view was basically all black
(http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=143615),
while FW190A5 showed prop, spinner, wings, and little else.

Where you guys in Tempests or a different plane?

I was in a spit5 and P51 when I got that. Was just gonna make a thread about it.

Shawk (I think) mentioned that he fixed this problem by doing a copy selection process. It worked for me too. Basically you start select at like 00:01, then end selection one second before you film ends then hit copy selection and you can see your cockpit in that new film. I have no idea why this works but it worked for me.

I have seen it in several Planes Morph. P51, Spit5, Hurri. that i can think of roght off.
As Zaphod says, the work around does work nice for now.
