Title: Video settings
Post by: daddog on February 22, 2005, 06:49:46 AM
Should I check the Hardware Vertex Processing? What does that do?

What should my Antialiasing and Anisotropic settings be? Choices are:

Antialiasing 2x, 2xQ, 4x, 8xs
Anisotropic 2x 4x, 8x, 16x

MB ECS 755-A2
CPU AMD 3200
GeoForce 6600GT
750 megs of RAM
XP w/SP2 all updated.
DirectX 9c

Thanks in advance gents. :)

I turned up my resolution and textures 1024x748 and 512 and not only is it not better quality, I am getting better frame rates.  I haven't checked when there are a lot of people in MA though but i don't think it should matter too  much

Much better!

Frame rates are in the 50's and 60's clear sky and 30's in a furball. AC look smooth as silk. No jaggies. :)
