I'm no netowrks guy or anything but I don't think so.  I've never heard of anyone doing it yet and when we tried to figure something out for a LAN party I was at last year we couldn't think of any way you could do it.

Sure there is.

Set up internet connection sharing over the LAN, 1 PC dials in the rest share that connection.  Then just setup an H2H game as normal.

You better be plugged into a backbone router giving 1Mb/s though......

Everytime you host or join a H2H session you are first connecting to HTC's Password server.

So while it is possible to have a H2H game up on a lan it must like swoop said have net access & a good connection.
