Cn anyone recommend a free registry cleaner? Evidently I have some issues with my registry and I need to clean it up so I can get my system running at peak performance.
I appreciate any help. Thanks

WinASO Registry Optimizer is free to try. I believe it can be used indefinitely though. It can only fix 10 problems per scan in unregistered form but I can live with that :) and it automatically backs up your registry each time it fixes problems.
WinASO Registry Optimizer (http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=winaso&tg=dl-2001)
I also use TweakNow RegCleaner, doesn't fix quite as many problems but I think, no I believe it catches some that WinASO does not. :p

Registry Mechanic 4.0 from PCTools is about the highest rated Registry cleaner on the market. Free download, fixes problems in the first 6 categories in the free trial version.
PCTools has been around since the DOS days, and they generally know their stuff.
