Still working on putting together parts for the socket 939 machine I may build. I might wuss out and build a cheaper 754. Anyway.... I don't seem to see any DDR2 PC3200 Ram with a Cas Latency of less than 3? OR is it so fast that it's a "who cares" kind of thing?

If your building an AMD system you don't use DDR2.
You use standard DDR, one of the reasons AMD is going straight from DDR to DDR3 is the horrible latencies of DDR2.

Ok..thanks for the heads up. I guess I got confused by the Dual Data Rate DDR bit. I could have sworn I saw DDR2. Course I'm old, fat, and married so WTF do I know.
Any idea when the DDR3 will popup? There is just never a good time to upgrade. Always something that will change in a couple of months.

Get Cas 2 if you can. However, turn of all your benchmarking suites and Frame Rate counters and I defy anyone to notice any real world difference
