Title: AH Poker Night tomorrow (Thurs)?
Post by: Nash on February 23, 2005, 08:29:29 PM: I remembered Sandman and Creamo's posts a few weeks back about Partypoker.com, and gave it a try. It's fun, even if I am losing my shirt.

So... I'm just curious if there's any interest in an AH player poker game tomorrow night. Just fake money, and we'll set up a private room and have at it for a couple of hours or so.

We can work out the details if there's any interest.

For anyone who doesn't know partypoker.com, I just ran through the registration and set up an hour ago, and it's painless.

So...?

I am not even close to being a poker player, but it didn't take long.

Play money is really a waste of your time. No one cares so there's no fear factor. People call to the river with anything at any position.There's no real Texas Holdem game at all, merely 5 card stud. You can have A/A and it's still a toss up with fools trying to draw out on you with J/3 os.

The buyin is only $30, and the winner gets $2,000. I doubt I'll win anything, but I think I'm gonna give it a try...should be fun!

Nobody even said anything in the text buffer except an occasional "gh" or "ty", whatever the heck THAT means.
