I think its real. Someone took an RC plane and put the engine, controlls, etc onto what looks like a plastic kids toy mover.

Oh, it's definately real.  It's not a plastic lawnmower, it's a kit that's designed to LOOK like a lawnmower, but it's lightweight and has aerodynamic surfaces, some of which are not immediately evident.

It, like the F-117, is a testament to the fact that you can get just about anything to fly with the proper C/G and enough power.  I've seen a flying football and an R/C witch on a broomstick.

I saw one at the Wings over Houston thingie...

The announcer says "Hold on while grampa mows the grass on the flight line"

Grampa goes out with the 'mower' which suddenly flies out of his grasp and begins to, gasp, fly.

Kids love it.

^ LOL at the caption.  They sell these things.  The lawnmower is actually an airfoil and is pretty lightweight.  Last time this was posted someone had a link to a site selling these :)  I still want one.

the price is right. if i knew anything about r/c aircraft i'd get one for the laughs. still might... it'll look cool those 5 seconds before I pancake. thx guys!
