Title: Padlock settings help please

Do you know if it's possible to control the "flipping around" through fixed angles that padlock does? It seems very artificial at default settings. It's a pan thing I think, even though I've set up snap views for normal flying.

I'm studying the ini files and the docs but I can't see anything that looks like a parameter for padlock scrolling or set padlock for panning/snap view - TIA

I never use the padlock view, but F8 should change the view mode to pan. I would guess that if you press this between Tab-selecting a target and entering padlock mode, you would get what you're looking for.
