The MOTD in many of the H2H sessions I join say no Perk planes.
I understand what a perk plane is from reading the message boards
but I can't find a list of the Perk planes.
Can anyone help?
I was flying a H2H and concentrating on staying alive when suddenly a voice says " Check six!"
I was so surprised I squeezed off about 50 rounds from the .50 cals.
How do you do that?

U have to press the key: quote to make that happen or remap it to another (i use the tab key since i never use padlock)
goto setup/keymapping and global settings and u will find it there.

Thanks Airguard.
Does it send the message to all pilots on your team?
-
When you hit the key it puts a box around a pilot in your view and you can then cycle through all pilots in your view to the one who is about to get wasted by that bad guy on his 6 and it will send him a warning....hence the "check 6" sound you heard. :)
And the perk planes should be listed in the plane list....they are the ones that have a value listed in the price column I believe. Not real sure on this one since I dont spend that much time in the H2H arenas. But at the present time the only perk planes we have are the F4U1-C, TA-152, Tempest, Ar234...I think thats it.

Yep sling you just about summed it up. Sling you will find that if you are in the training arena and someone "WANTS" to engage you, they will check 6 you. You then (hopefully) will give you the chance to say
"Yes I want to fight you"
or
"No DON'T shoot me"
But if you hear check 6 in the Main Arena or in H2H then it usualy means that you have to move your bellybutton pretty fast :)
If I was you I really would not worry to much about the Perk Planes. To be honest the perk planes are only really any use to people who know how to fly them properly. Apart from maybe the temp and the Ar234.
Ar234= German Jet Bomber
Tempist = British Fighter/Bomber
F4U1D (Chog)= US Carrier Based Fighter/Bomber
TA152 = German Figher
Hope this has been of help

How do you gain perk points?
-
Smg77, you gain perk points by destroying things and shooting other planes down. If you are in a bomber you get bomber perk points, if you are in a fighter you get fighter perk points, and if you are driving a vehicle you get vehicle perk points each time you destroy or kill something.

you can also change the wav file for the check6 warning. do a search on this board, you'll find a few good ones :)
