Well here is my problem..
I just built a new machine the specs are
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor
3700+
2.40GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM ddr
K8V SE deluxe
Nvidia Gforce 4ti4200 128 ram
Cable modem Good connection hardly any packet loss
60-70 ping on main arena

Well I am getting great fps 60 - 80
butt everything is warping like mad
and the game will go into slow mode then
speep up to real time.. It is driving me crazy..
just ordered the ATI X800 xt platnum
what do I do till it get here?:aok

Check you've not got realtime anti-virus running. Firewall should be ok.

Other than that  networking/ internet stuff is a black art to me lol:rolleyes:

all fire wall and virus protect turned off and my connection is great ... I hope skuzzy reads this....
its like I have tuime acceleration on then
I slow down then im normal speed..... grrr

spyware adware can cause this aswell , run spybot aand adaware, hijack this and anyother spyware programs you have . without opening internet explore, or anyother app that uses your networking  , hit control alt delete, pull up the taskmanager and check you networking tab . It should show no usage , if it does you have some sort of spyware in the machine.   hope you get it worked out <> 38

I hate to promote anything microsoft but...the new microsoft antispyware beta has performed beyond every expectation. Okay so I had admittedly low expectations of a microsoft product to begin with but it's found every piece of spyware/shareware/trojans you name it. I even went looking into known spyware infested pages and it caught everything so far. All in one product.

ANY packet loss is bad. You should be a able to ping HTC for an hour without any packet loss.

Check your connection.

Do you have to run Spybot to see what kind of Spyware Microsoft's antispyware beta has loaded?  ;)

Thanks for the link to Microsofts antispyware beta program.   I installed it and found all kinds of junk.
