Title: emo, metro, wtf are they?

Ok, I gather an emo is a sissy guy. Since when did that become fashionable?
A metrosexual is a guy that dresses like a girl, but he's straight? Is that right?

what the heck is the world coming to?

emo is a cross punk, alt that kind of reminds me of 80's new wave, without the synth

think the cure with all guitars. they are sometimes considered the first "emo" band by people who dont know jack though lol

edit, i think of the smiths, and stuff like that when i hear emo music

Emo is a brand of Punk rock in which the music is very slow, well thought out and made for people who whine all day about what's happening around them. Black Hair, heavy / thick glasses, lack of any enthusiasm is a symptom of Emo.

Metrosexual is something different. It's sort of like that SNL skit "The Effiminate Heterosexual." It's a straight guy who acts like a gay guy. Sort of like a Gay guy who's only into women.

Now, a lot of metro sexuals will ACT EXACTLY LIKE A GAY GUY! But if a guy ever hit on them they'd be disgusted.
