Assuming that is a picture of GW, I guess just because someone follows you around with the codes for launching nuclear armageddon on your order, you shouldn't necesarily be considered relevant.

The solution to idiocy is to be a bigger idiot.
One would think that a message to skuzzy might be the way to go on this with an explanation as to why you're sending it. You, however, have chosen a different path. The great irony of the situation is that you're posting right out of nuke's "guide for the complete idiot poster."
Maybe nash could chime in and highlight the shear genius of your post. That would make the whole thing complete.

I'm not going to write Skuzzy or anyone, because I don't believe in censoring anything but outright profanity. My only point is the inconsistancy. Unless its vulgar, or unlawful (piracy) I don't think anything should be removed. Not even posts pointing out a double standard. Ideas don't hurt anything.

I did tell Nuke I didn't like what he was doing and I do think I aptly illustrated he was pretty ignorant of the religion he was ragging on.
Edit: I do get your point though. Maybe this thread is a little overboard - I dunno. Really it was to illustrate the absurdity of the other one.

Well think about this. Maybe you missed the point. Now if that was true, how could I explain it to you? What type of attention do you think I'm trying to get? Out of the blue, Nuke decides to bomb a Catholic icon. This post out of the blue bombs a Republican icon. Now why do that? Well, there was a thread locked recently having to do with a Republican icon.
All the "stamping feet" (like whinning, running, duckink etc.) junk is just plain nonsense. It means as much to say you a babbling. Its subjective. You don't like it, so you present it with a negative conotation. Sort of like liberals calling Bush's state of the union, claptrap. It means nothing - just a mindless insult.

BTW -I never thought of my self as "clever" - honest, yes, but not clever. "Clever" has disingenuous overtones. Why would you think I was trying to be clever? I stated outright why I posted this thread and even conceded it might have been overbearing.

Try this:
If you had half a clue, you'd realize that a thread like this is an attempt to make a painfully obvious point publicly. You are attempting to not-so-subtly call the moderator biased in hopes that you can... well... who knows. What you're doing is counter productive. You are putting the moderator on the defensive simply because you are too stupid to aproach this with any level of intelligence. You really do remind me of nuke... but for reasons that don't seem to be apparent to you due to your simple lack of comprehension.
Insults are in there because both you and this thread are begging for them. If you don't want to be called an ostrich, pull your head out of the sand.

I see your point. But I can assure you it was not intended to be so personal - more like flipping a finger at the idea of whats correct and whats not correct thinking. But I do get what you are saying, and I apolgize as it slights the work the people put in to keeping this board up. Seriously, that wasn't the intention.
Edit: Also, I do find the pope thead offensive. I just wonder why some of your explanation can't go over there.

And all the pope did was bless a few people and bam- Catholics are cultists and he's an irelevent old man. The post was in response to that mentality. I felt someone attacked Catholics for no reason and sought to illustrate the point by attacking Bush for no reason.

What I have to say about nuke has been said to both him and skuzzy. There's not much of a point in telling them both again. Maybe if skuzzy heard it from more people in a more rational manner it might get through. Instead... he get's threads like this. Threads that make nuke's lunacy pale in comparison.

I in no way derided the Pope in my thread. And, it was not "out of the blue" .....the Pope was in recent news being sick and that's what as on my mind at the time......what relevence he has.
I asked what relevence he was to anyone, (especially Catholics). Too bad the thread wad deleted, because you could go through all my posts and not find one insult I made about the Pope or Catholics. Well, I did call it a dead end religeon......because I believe that to be true.
And Mini-D, you have refered to me as an idiot several times. I think I asked some good questions for Catholics to ponder.
