Gentlemen,
I have a nasty little spyware problem with this Huntbar malware program. I can't get rid of it. I went to PChell.com and did what the instructions told me to do but I can't find any listing of it in my add/delete programs list. Every time I run Spybot SD it finds Huntbar but I can't get rid of it!
When I run McAfee it finds a trojan called wivwpej.exe McAfee can't delete it,only quarrantine it. What exactly is it? I have found it under Windows System 32 and try to delete it there but says disk is full of some such nonsense. Its really starting to get under my skin. I quit surfing with IE and now only surf with Mozilla Firefox. I'm really trying to limit my time while using a browser surfing the web. I learned my lesson using IE and getting hordes of spyware. Someone please help me? I would really appreciate it. I tried safe mode to delete it but it only comes back again when I boot the OS in normal mode.
Windows XP SP1 is the OS I am using.
Thanks guys

Did you try deleting it in safemode?

yea go to safe mode ... then clean out all your temp/temp internet files then go after the virous itself . Trend micro has a viropedia that has most of the virouses listed and the exact regestry ect type editing instructions .
beshure you reset your home page also so you dont reinfect yourself if you open ie by mistacke .
if you know what your doing inthe regestry Hijack this is a great program also (but its not for the inexperienced user)

So is Hijack this. Though you do need to be very careful.
