skuzzy, hope this post is ok here ?
Hi,
I am running the London Marathon on April the 17th in aid of the King George Fund for Sailors. http://www.kgfs.org.uk/
I am looking for kind hearted generous people (aren't we all) who are able to sponsor myself for any amount at all.
Considering that I am about 30 pounds over my "fighting weight" it's been a tough few months training so far, but by April 17th I should be in reasonable shape.
You are able to sponsor online at
http://www.justgiving.com/warbirds
Thanks in anticipation.

my mum has run the london maraphon a few times, she looked absolutly fked by the end lol but then she is 57, i think she did it in 3hrs 40
my father in-law also run it ,im not sure how fast he did it in as i didnt go but he reassures me he stopped in the pub for a guiness on the way round lol
anyway i couldnt run that far myself
10 minutes on the running machine is enough for me, so big respect for doing it

It's too late to change my training style now, I'm 45 and have been running for nearly 29 years, This will probably be my last run though as the knees creak and the body is now unwilling to assist.

Paul,
I dream of completing a Marathon in 3:40, that is a great effort.
