The B-24Js which should be flat colored green or desert camo are too shiny, and the natural metal P-38Js which should be as shiny as the natural metal P-38Ls are not.
You can see this difference by examining my 49th FG P-38L vs my 20th FG P-38J. These planes should share the exact same material.txt file, but they look quite different from above when sitting on the runway- the 38L receives glare that washes out all detail due to the higher specularity, but the 38J, which should be the same, does not.
So, something is not working correctly regarding specularity.
btw, my compliments too all the skinners this go round - I think this was the best batch of skins yet. Those new 109s, and the '38Gs are fantastic looking. Congrats you guys!

Ditto! I rolled Greebo's RAF darker camo B24 last night and noticed right away.

I noticed this as well and told Skuzzy about it on private last night. He said that the material file had been included with the skins correctly, so it looks like there is some sort of bug with the program that loads the skins as res files. Hopefully it should be sorted soon.

cc. And fantastic job on the B24s Greebo! I lost track of all the new skins that came down the pipe last night cuz I was fighting in the CT, and I couldn't see alot of the skins right away because many if the aircraft they were for weren't enabled. I usually keep a list of the new skins coming down and then go check them out right away.

On a side note I noticed that the new skins loading pretty fast. Seems like the whole time I flew they loaded one after another.

We got it fixed, Greebo. It will be in the next release.
