Armi (Female) is buried 1km away from where I live; I haven't seen anyone making trips to her grave like to the grave of Jim Morrison... maybe some day.

Hehe... so true :D

Well of course there was "Unknown Soldier" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048752/) movie which was based on Väinö Linna's book; filmed in '55, and which is just as good war movie as "Das Boot" IMHO.

I'd say it's the better one, although I'm not a huge fan of old movies. Both are fine movies and quite different.
