Geez we pulled that one out of our arse.
Gutty game by both teams.
Marvin is a impressive for a freshman.
May was incredible against Williams (a first team all-american)
March madness is here.
Go Heels!

ah, how I love the sound of duke fans crying in the morning:D
that was an intense last 2 minutes!
Have they already decided whether Carolina moves up to #1 or will Illinois stay up?

Carolina is still a 3 loss team. Polls come out today, but they should not be 1.

After the amazing bit of choking Illinois exhibited yesterday, one loss may as well be one hundred losses. They do not deserve the top spot.

Remember Santa Clara you homer?
Kidding. Hopefully we'll find out in the Final Four.

Notably this was done without McCants. The Santa Clara loss was with a temporary loss of Felton. Some would argue Felton is a key team leader while McCants is just a scorer.
-
And more notably, the loss to Santa Clara came during a meaningless game -- the first of the season without any ultimate bearing on conference standings, national ranking, or NCAA tournament seeding. It was a fluke by every definition.
The Illinois loss came during a game with plenty on the line -- an undefeated regular season, a perfect conference record, the top ranking in the country going into March Madness, possible NCAA tournament seeding, etc. With so much on the line, Illinois choked under the pressure. If they can't handle that, can they handle the pressure of playing in a national championship game?
I'd love to see an Illinois/UNC matchup with both teams healthy, Majic. That would be something special to watch.
