hi
I have this problem with my controllers (CH stick, CH throttle, CH pedals) where they randomly lock up in game in neutral position and don't respond to inputs. After about 15-20 seconds they kick back in and I can fly normally. Never had this problem before.
Another thing that happens is that my view system sometimes gets locked in the direct up view and I have to hit escape to re-center the view in the cockpit. I use a combination of stick HAT+direct up and down views on throttle for my views in AH.
Any ideas what the fix could be??
Thanks

Are you using the CH software to setup your controls?

yup

I've heard both sides. Some people swear by using the CH setup software, some people have nightmares about it. It seems to vary from system to system.
Best thing you can do IMO is go to the CH website
http://www.chproducts.com
and download their "cleaner" program. Uninstall the CH software and run the cleaner. It will remove even registry entries. This will make sure you dont have any corrupt files or registry entries causing a problem. Now try to setup the controllers in Windows and then in AH without using the CH software. If it works ok, try reinstalling the software and set it up again, then try AH again. If it fails again, you will have to live without the CH control program.

Is that USB hardware?
Maybe try to power it with an active usb hub, could be you draw to much power of the usb?
-
That was my thought Schutt. Sounds like the USB bus is over-saturated. Not uncommon when you have several USB devices connected.
An external powered USB hub is a good investment when running a HOTAS setup.

I used a powered hub for my ch hotas and had wierd probs, everything would work fine then bam, no stick, or no peds, or no throttle.
Go to game controllers, and yes there would be the controller listed but did'nt work, reboot, everythings fine for awhile then bam, again.
Fixed it by plugging into different ports,, not a prob since.
