It all depends on what you want to do?  Whether you want to spend the money or not...

Here is a page for you http://www.computervideo.net/ check that out and see if you like anything... If you don't want to get into it big... don't spend the money on a high end editor... Microsoft Movie Maker is free from the microsoft website.

I myself use Sony Vegas 5.0
