Title: Looking for hkserv.exe - from Sony Vaio
Post by: Chairboy on March 11, 2005, 06:16:14 PM
Hi guys,

I'm looking for a copy of hkserv.exe.  It's a tool that many Sony Vaio's come with that makes the 'Fn' key do its thang (eg, modify volume, turn external monitor on, etc).

Sony no longer offers this on their website, does one of you fine fellows have it or its installer?  If so, could you email it to me at ben@vipmail.com?

Much obliged!

Don't you have the installation media anymore?

Nope, moved and it got lost in the move.  As a matter of deduction, if I still had the installation media, I probably wouldn't be asking here, right?  :D

'Haa haa!' and point a finger. ;)
