what a joke.
thats why i will never CO a side again.
1 hour and 20 minutes REAL LIFE time into the frame, and the bombers just hit the target.
why even bother having enemies?!?!?!
some people have better things to do that WASTE time flying for a non-fight in a supposed scenario
was there ANY opposition in real life to the mission we were supposedly re-living?
i'll bet allied command never said "fly until you are out of fuel, the enemy forces will have no planes to fly by then"
it's an utter joke. IRL (which i THOUGHT the SEA was supposed to be re-creating) there would be planes ready to take off all the time. in AH the strategy seems, fly with the unlimited allied fuel until the axis can't fly anymore. since they have only a few polits, we can hit them unopposed, and win, because there will be nothing to shoot us down

Is this Squad Operations you are talking about?
-
What event are you talking about?
-
yes meant for squad ops from friday
buncha BS

All targets are supposed to be hit in the first hour. If someone did not then they dropped the ball or maybe they were intercepted on the way to target which fouled up their plans.
I don't think it was deliberate as you assume it was. I have worked harder than anyone else to assure squads see action in Squad Operations and that it takes place in the first hour. My apologies that was not the case for you.
Maybe consider the dozens of past frames that went well and you enjoyed yourself.

yes, you are right daddog.. there have been some fun events in the past. i am sure there will be more in the future also.
maybe this one was just a breaking point for me. it reminded me about the one i CO'd where the bombers went WAY out of the way... hitting the target with 10 minutes left in the frame. there was no chance they would make it RTB, and it was a big deal back then. IIRC it was part of the fuel that started the "hit target within time frame" thing.
talking with 42 on the phone, one thing we discussed is the whole "real life" scenario where the axis would be waiting to scramble once reports of IB's were made.
basically like having the allied bombers roll, then maybe 15-20 minutes later the axis scramble.
the only problem with that is the allied fighter escorts would be up to 35-40k by then. an unrealistic situation, and basically a slaughter.
unfortunatly i can not think of a way to make it historical, and at the same time stop players from "gaming" the possibilities and making it a futile effort.
i guess we'll see in the future sir

I got lucky. I had just rearmed, and gotten to alt when the report came in. I got a couple kills, and an assist. After a drought of 3 weeks dying early I finally survived with kills. Alot of it has to do with luck. It was a nice formation of b26s, but I would have liked it a bit earlier in the game. But I'll tel ya one thing..Id rather see a formation at T+90 than single dar flashers all over the map with no real purpose..which Ive see nin the past.

Looking at the logs, it appears that all bomber groups reached target (and started destroying objects) at or around 1 hour into the Frame.
Can you shoot me the film so that I can see what we're dealing with here?

Looking at the Logs, it appears that the USMC squad hit their target (a35) once at T+63, overflew the target, and hit a secondardy target (A50) on their way out at T+73
Look at TracerX's entry for confirmation. They overflew (and attacked) A35 before heading to A50.

This looks like an old thread, but I believe the conclusion to this thread is contained in this one.

I don't know if you are referring to the USMC group of B-26's, but I give a full AAR on our group for your information.
