what software is every one using to create new skins.  Also i'm lookign to create an all black skin with a black and white checkered tail but probably wont be approved unless it is historicaly accurate

I think we're about evenly split between Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.

You're right - unless historically accurate, the skin won't be approved.

I don't think I have any of those so I'm wondering if any of you experienced skin makers would be willing to make skins for the F4UC and F4UD with the VMF-323 Death Rattlers markings of WWII?  You may contact me at jshoreatp@comcast.net

I know I'm a "newbie" skinner compared to the awesome stuff these other guys make.

I use Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I basically make all of the "large" details in illustrator, and use photoshop for the cleanup and small details.
