Ok this may be the wrong place to post this but I figured what the hey:

I was playing AA today and ran to the kitchen to make me a blended adult beverage.  I came back while the blender is still running and noticed my ping was going haywire.  The weird part is as I heard the blender bogging down I saw my ping increasing.  I do live in an old house *built in the 50s* so I figure interference is entirely possible.  Has anyone ever noticed this before.

BTW I was making mudslides.  I like blended drinks on a hot sunday.

It's actually pretty new.  It's one of those smoothie makers that has the poor spout attached to the glass.  Pretty handy.  It's the house that's old.

I just found it very weird myself.

But I did come up with a new hypothisis....It could have messed with my wireless router.....

Any electronic device can theoretically interfere with wireless transmissions.  Electromagnetic waves.  Doesnt just happen in the air either.  Can travel through your walls in the wiring under the right circumstances.  They actually sell pest control devices that do exactly that, they setup electronic waves through the wiring in your walls at just the right frequency to deter mice, bugs, and other vermin from entering the house.

Around our house the most obvious electrical interference cause is the vacuum sweeper.  Sometimes I'll just turn off the computer when the sweeper comes around.
