Okay...Before everyone complains just hear me out........What id we added new damage to the aircraft list?  In specific radio and navigation damage...

Maybe instead of a pilot wound you could have radio damage and lose either Vox/Range or both....Maybe they would come in and out like a pilot wound except at longer rates....

Now for the navigation....We all know there has to be a small antenna satellite probe sticking out of our WWII aircraft because we use modern day GPS to navigate! haha....what if there was damage to that which affected the map...one setting could be that you lose all dar and icons...the map auto zooms out entirely and you have to try and find yourself from last known position to navigate to or from safely?  i dunno....bring the wines but I think this would be fun

Little addition:

Hit pitot probe and loose all instruments? (except clock, compass, and ammo counter)

altimeter, VSI, Turn coordinater, artificial horizon, heading indicator, engine intruments.... all would still work.  all knocking the pitot out would do is bust the airspeed indicator.

That has been implemented already.  Also, random failuer of the radio equipment due to the alignement of the stars  and planets has also been implemented.

If ch 200 damage was modeled Id be flying around shooting out certain antenna"s :P

Well, it would be fun to shoot Shanes radio and then run away :rofl  :rofl

I already lose VOX all the time, and that's WITHOUT getting shot.

Loss of radar onboard would be interesting.  You'd have to fly home by dead reckoning.    I like it.

Of course, if you get shot up, Cav, you should just close the clipboard to simulate your mess.  :)
