Am I the only one who since playing AH has noticed their SA increasing to ridiculous levels?
Now when I'm driving the car I'm looking left, right, over my shoulder, down to the road!!
I've even been seen by my long suffereing wife-ack better half staring up through the sunroof looking for a road-based threat hiding in the glare of the sun!!

Just thought this post would make a change from the norm!
HTC keep up the good work!!!
Well appreciated and hey if it cuts down on RTA's its gotta be good!

What's "SA"?
-
SA = Situation Awareness
Smiggs :aok
-
ya isnt that kinda cool, i have been complimented on my great SA when i play soccer, didnt think till now it could be due largly to flight sims, i guess thats one reason artists do so well when it comes to flight, spatial awareness is intergral to both art and flying. Furthermore i consider flying to be an art of its own as im sure many of you can agree.
-
No, but I've noticed an increased tendency to put my face 4 inches from televisions to see if the ack is still up.
-
As long as you dont start to HO other cars...
-
I honestly feel I do better at sports, etc. after playing this game for awhile.
-
Not to mention driving -- I find myself judging velocity differentials a bit more accurately (i.e. tightly) when "merging" and changing lanes....
Wife isnt thrilled about this, though she should be happy about the cardiovascular benefits from the extra adrenaline ....:aok
-
yeah im getting pretty good at "dumping e" to fit in behind traffic.
just gotta remember those pedals down there arent for the rudders :p
-
What you meen you have never performed lead and lag persutes on the onramp circle to the freeway?
HiTech
-
When in my BMW I have a tendancy to want to "saddle up" on any mustangs I see on the road.
So far have 3 confirmed kills and two speeding tickets.
-
Almost ripped off the steering wheel trying to go vertical once. Does that count? How about stepping on the gas while trying to slip into a parking spot?
-
I have a problem driving in that when I can't see in to the far distance I look for the Z key !

I tryed setting my views in a pickup while pulling a trailer with keys and F10. Didn`t work. I think I got it mapped wrong.
I did manage to get put on wife`s "ignore list" though. Life is good.
:D

It's always helped my driving, especially in close maneuvering. But my SA really shines when I'm on the motorcycle.
-
Hehehe definitely, HT!!
"Look at all the tards hitting their breaks, I'll lag pursue with little effort keeping pace."

Heh, welcome to th club. Does your car turn into yer fav plane on your commutes to/from work? Do you imagine your lightin' up the bellybutton end of the person who cut you off in traffic with your Hispanos?

I drive a 98 dodge quad cab truck with a 380 in it. I chased a porscha down a mountain with it one day. Scared the hell outta him because I stayed on his 6 through all the turns. Funny now that I think back it was like chasin a 109 in my JUG......:D

Yep sure do Smiggy
When I drive my heads on a Swivel.
Worst part is when I see a red car comming at me I pull
a U trun and swing in behind it :rofl
-
Flying both in AH and IRL, I found that when I'm approaching a bunch of cars stopped in traffic, a little voice in my head says "Pull back and you can go over them"... Sometimes it's hard to ignore the voice but I haven't listened to it yet... ;)

I'm just glad none of the joust warriors have had the urge to ho the car coming at them in the other lane.
