1-1/2" scar just above my hairline on my forehead.  Was chasing after my younger brother when I was around 6 trying to kill him for whatever reason...tripped and went superman into a brick fireplace.

1/2" scar just below lower lip where I bit through my lip after an abrupt halt due to a rock collision while sledding.

4" scar on my right back where an airplane wingtip suckerpunched me from behind.

1/2" scar on right palm from a dog bite.

"Welcome aboard" tattooed on my noodle.  Oh, that's a movie.

My body is perfection and absolutely breathtaking.

Had my appendix removed. Doc f*cked up and there were complication, so El Gigante scar there might be mistaken for a sword wound.

Right shoulder. Was bumped into the side of an AN-28 on exit in Russia. Didn't have any anti-nasty stuff with me, so it got infected.

Broken ribs - stupid low downwind front riser turn HP landing.

Busted knees, mogul(sp?) skiing.

Lower lip, all across. Baseball bat to the face.

RIght ear. Nearly tore it off running from girls who wanted to kiss me age 7. Man, that was stupid in so many ways.

That's it for now.

I have burnt myself several times about the face, chest, neck and head.

Scars are from a silly little stunt I do. I cover myslef in lamp oil and light myslef on fire. People love it!

1 1/2" scar in right eyebrow.....really can't remember where that one came from

2" scar just over my left temple....3 wood, neighbor kid hit me when I was 6, he had one hell of a followthrough in his golf swing

Upper left lip....some right handed MF'r

Upper right lip....some left handed MF'r

There might still be a small scar under my chin, busted it open a week after I got the stitches out of my head from the 3 wood.

There's a whole kinked-out sexual subgenre that has to do with folks gettin' their rocks off to people with amputations, or casts, or who are in some way disfigured.

Oct belongs to this club. Look back up through this thread... You're providing him with enough wank material to span several decades.

Do not feed this preevert.

- Small scar in top center of forehead.  Smashed bottle against it in drunken speech, something about going to live forever.  Audience stunned.

- Scar on right thumb from bow-saw accident.  Was cutting down some public trees at a school to make an oar for a "raft" we built when I was 10 or so.  Got home from hospital to find a real oar in shed.

- Scar on right ring-finger, palm side.  Age <10.  Was cutting heads off GI Joe's with a knife (Farmington's a pretty boring place).  Sucker slipped.

- Right knee cap is pretty much scarred to hell.  And no, I don't have good balance (jerks :p  ) - it's from hockey.

- Scar on right eyelid from taking a follow through from a slapshot right into it.  Honestly thought I lost it for a few minutes.  Oh well...  There went my pretty face :D

Well, ok, now you all know what I look like and what my battle wounds are...  I guess I might as well clear things up and tell you that my favorite color is red  :p

When I was off playing soldiers the way we did it was every man in the unit was issued with a battle id number of 3 digits, we then wrote the number on the inside flap of our shirt pockets, on        the inside of our belts - webbing and we threaded spare dog tags into our boot laces.

Wearing dog tags around your neck is a pain in the ass, so we'd loop them around our belts and let them hang down into the wound dressing pocket on our combats.

The reason for this was the year prior to my service a Ratel Micv burnt out during Operation Smokeshell, it took a RPg 7 hit to the driver compartment and brewed up killing all the crew, identification was very difficult.

Extra skin on the index and middle knuckles from pushups, and a few suture points on the left annular middle section where a stroller folded onto my finger back when I was two or three.

That's it really, besides I think scars on me look more like having missed myself instead of knowing better and avoiding damage, rather than proud memories.

When I read MrBill's post I realised I have lived a charmed life.  Despite flying aircraft, riding motorcycles, serving in the military and living in a country racked by thirty years of terrorism.  I have so far managed to never see a single dead body in the street, heard or seen a bomb go off, hear shots fired in anger, seen a car crash, get mugged, see anyone die in front of me or had a near death experience. All the wars I lived through only happened on TV.

I really should be more careless.

But I have three scars, three pathetic scars, appendix, a small scar on the chin where I took a punch and a nice zig zag scar on my thumb from an operation to try an unlock it when broken bones fused after a motorcycle accident.

My life was dull beyond belief despite my best efforts.

Two lines of stitches under the chin.  5'9" frame with balding pate, weak chin and pot belly.  Frog-butt, with no hips, that attaches directly to my spine.

In addition, my accoutrements would be a "dead" giveaway;

Ten-gallon hat
Ivory-handled 45's with hand-tooled, silver-studded holsters
Dingo boots
Red, white, and blue super-suit with matching red-cape.

Yummie what a testosteron filled topic... I can't resist :D

Most of them as a scout (boy scout... you know the youth movement?)

1 1/2 inc (4 cm) scar both underside and upside of right foot. Jumped from a roof on a rather sharp iron pins sticking out of armed concrete (old WW2 bunker). Wearing thin soles my right foot went straight through. age 11 (scout)

4 inch scar just left of my right shinbone. Mate was chopping wood with an axe and the axe itself came loose from the handle and nested itself in my righ lower leg. Age 12 Was deep too. (scout)

1 inch scar left back shoulder. Angry mate throwed a pocket knife at me (scout), don't know how old I was back then.

1 inch scar on my left sheek. Runnin through woods chasing someone (game) a tree branch hit me right in the face. Stitches went bad and made it a rather bad scar. My girlfriend likes it tho :D

Not a scar but a bump in my skull... hit the ground head first playing rugby. Got up a few mins later, next day at school I fainted. Rather bad concussion.

1 1/2 inch scar stopping a knife during a fight. I was pushing the guy because I didn't believe he would stab. When he did I thought better my hand than something else. 18

Both knees operated, miniscus (don't know the word in english) removed.  Rugby is hell for the knees.

Broken rib (left side) near the breastbone. It's still a bit lower then the others... Did a jumping course with the Belgian 1st parachutist-commando brigade (they do that during summer holiday for kids). Landed wrong.

So I think I classify for the darwin awards :D Scouts sure can be dangerous.

What's funny do is how those scars change over time. For example... the one on my right lower leg started out about 2 inches below my knee... but now (28 so 16 years later) it's about 2 inches above my foot. So it's moved a couple of inches down :D
